School Cyber Café Initiative

To establish a sustainable income stream for the school, we’ve explored several ideas, including a poultry farm, a school garden, and a tree nursery. These initiatives not only generate revenue but also offer students valuable hands-on learning in agriculture and entrepreneurship.

With the relocation of the staff room, we now have an ideal space in Phase 2 of the administration block for an IT area that will function as a cyber café in the evenings. This dual-purpose facility will generate income for the school and provide a valuable resource for the village. Additionally, it will create a job for a local resident who can also lead adult education courses in the evenings.

The entire project requires a £5,000 investment and is expected to be self-sustaining within the first year.
