We’re on an exciting mission to build a primary and junior secondary school in Kipsamoite, Nandi County, Kenya, and we need your help to make it happen!

The Nandi School Project was born in 2016, after Duncan discovered that a large charity he supported was only passing on 10% of donations to the cause he believed in. Determined to make a real impact, Duncan and Petra set out to create a project where every penny goes directly to transforming lives. What started as a simple school building initiative for a remote, impoverished village has evolved into something far bigger—a life-changing project that empowers the entire community. Thanks to the generosity of friends and family, we’ve raised over £120,000 so far and have achieved incredible progress:

Six brand-new classrooms

An admin block with staff rooms and three offices

A fully stocked library

A community hall doubling as a dining room and kitchen

A bio-digester providing biogas for cooking, heating, and lighting

A 62,000-litre underground water harvesting tank

Our efforts don’t stop at building. We also support 200 children through our sponsorship program, providing them with school uniforms, paid fees, and a daily meal—ensuring that education is a reality for these bright young minds.

Every penny raised through our child sponsorship program goes directly to the children or the project. Only gift aid is used to cover administrative costs. Now, we’re calling on generous donors, passionate collaborators, and anyone who wants to be part of something extraordinary to join us.

About Nandi School Project

Our Mission

We are on a mission to build a primary school in Nandi, Kenya, and we need your support! Launched in 2016 by Duncan and Petra, our aim was to make a small difference in a poor and isolated village. Initially, this school building project aimed to bring education to this impoverished and remote area of Kenya, but it has evolved into much more.

So far, we have raised 0ver £100,000 through donations from friends and family. We have built * six classrooms * an admin block with staff rooms and three offices * a library * hall and kitchen measuring 30 X 10M * a Bio-digester for cooking heating and lighting * a 62,000 Litre underground water harvesting tank Additionally, our sponsorship program supports 200 children who receive a school Uniform, school fees paid and a daily meal.

Every single penny raised through our child sponsorship program goes directly to the child or the project only some gift aid is used for administrative costs. We are actively seeking donors, collaborators, investors, and individuals who wish to get involved to help make this project a success.
