Help Us Complete These Life-Changing Projects

2026 Objectives

We’re building on another successful year at the Nandi School Project with an exciting new set of goals for 2026. Each of these projects has been chosen to strengthen the school’s facilities, improve daily life for the children, and extend our support to the wider community.

Although we’ve made huge progress, we still need further funding to complete these important developments. Every donation, large or small, will help us keep moving forward and make a lasting difference.

1. Construction of a New Ablutions Block

We plan to build a purpose-designed ablutions block with toilets, showers, and changing facilities. All wastewater will be channelled into the school’s bio-digester, providing a clean, sustainable system that supports hygiene and environmental care.

2. Development of Sports Facilities

Following our 2025 Christmas Appeal, we’ll continue raising funds to complete a proper football pitch, netball court, and volleyball court. This will give the children a safe, level area to play and train while bringing the community together through organised sports and inter-school events.

3. Classroom Redecoration and Covered Way Conversion

Several classrooms are now due for a full refresh. We plan to redecorate the interiors and upgrade the covered walkway so it can double as a space for class-based activities — giving teachers and students more flexibility throughout the school day.

4. Launch of Adult Education Classes

Education doesn’t stop at childhood. In 2026, we’ll be introducing adult learning programmes for parents and local residents, offering practical skills training and literacy support to help families grow stronger together.

5. Purchase of a Printer and Photocopier

A new printer and copier will support both student learning and administration, making it easier to produce teaching materials, certificates, and school documents efficiently and locally. The printing/copying services can also be a source of good income supplying other schools with the same.

Together, these goals will help us continue to build not just a school, but a thriving community.
If you’d like to contribute towards any of these 2026 objectives, please get in touch or donate directly — every contribution helps move the project forward.

Reclaim Gift Aid

Gift Aid It!Add 25% more to your donation at no cost to you. A Gift Aid declaration allows Nandi School Project to claim tax back on eligible donations. It means that for every £1 you donate to Nandi School Project we can claim back 25p, at no extra cost to you.

By ticking the "Yes" box, I agree I would like Nandi School Project to reclaim the tax on all qualifying donations I have made, as well as any future donations, until I notify them otherwise. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year I may be asked to pay any difference. I understand that Nandi School Project will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid does not cost you a penny more, but can add an additional 25p to every £1 you donate. When Nandi School Project receives a donation from a UK taxpayer, we're entitled to claim an amount of tax (calculated at the basic rate of income tax in that year) paid on that donation. Once you have given your permission for us to do this on your behalf, there is no need for you to do anything else.

All that is required is that you must be a taxpayer and that would have paid or will pay sufficient Income and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover all the Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year. Please note that it is your responsibility to pay any difference.

The amount of tax we claim will be 25% of the total value of your donations in that tax year. Furthermore, if you are a higher taxpayer, you are also entitled to claim the difference between the basic rate which we will claim and the amount of tax you have actually paid. For further details on how you can do this, please contact your tax office. If your tax situation changes and your gifts will no longer be eligible for the Gift Aid scheme please contact us and we will amend your record accordingly.
