Phase 5 – Building a bio-digester

Building a bio-digester at the Nandi School Project was a long-held dream of Duncan’s, and seeing it come to life is incredibly rewarding. The bio-digester will not only provide a sustainable source of energy for cooking, heating, and lighting, but it will also help reduce waste and improve sanitation by converting organic material into clean biogas.

This self-sustaining system will save on fuel costs and minimize the need for firewood, which helps to protect local forests. In addition to reducing the school’s environmental footprint, it serves as a valuable educational tool, teaching students and the community about renewable energy and sustainability practices.

This project is a step forward for both the school and the environment, aligning with our mission to empower the community through innovation and sustainable growth.
